Students receive an annual NNU scholarship of $4,000 ($2,000 if they live off campus) for up to four years, depending on the years the student attended high school. If you are a new student looking to pursue a master’s degree in education or secondary education, you may qualify for a tuition discount of at least $3,340 (up to $5,950 discount).

Graduate students enrolling in a doctoral program for the first time may be eligible for a $2,000 scholarship.

Grand Canyon University’s Canyon Christian Schools Consortium

MOU 8288 and 8289: This scholarship is valid only for applicants enrolled in a College of Education or Secondary Education Emphasis graduate program that is offered online and who have submitted a completed application to begin the program on or before December 31, 2023. If you enroll for a master’s degree in one of the College of Education or Secondary Education Emphasis graduate programs offered online, Grand Canyon University will offer you an 18% discount on course tuition for your program. This scholarship is applied at the same time that tuition is paid. The scholarship cannot be combined with other scholarships/awards. This scholarship will only be applied to your tuition and does not cover any fees (i.e. Canyon Connect, technology, etc.).

MOU 8564, 8563, 8562, 8561, and 8560: The ABSN Arizona Nursing Service Scholarship Award is a need-based scholarship for students who meet the academic requirements of the ABSN clinical program. Eligible applicants will receive a stipend equal to the cost of tuition and fees for the ABSN clinical program, after all other federal aid and grants have been awarded. The scholarship requires the recipient to serve as a nurse in Arizona for at least four years after graduation. Failure to fulfill this obligation to provide the service will result in the need to return the subsidy to . This grant is contingent on the second part of the program starting in fall 2023 at specific locations in Arizona. The Scholarship Committee will consider all applications and select the winners. Selected applicants will be notified of the award of the scholarship, which cannot be combined with other offers.

MOU-Alumni 2000 Doctoral – September 2023: The Graduate Scholarship for Doctoral Programs is only valid for applicants who submit a complete application and enter the Doctoral Program in September 2023. High school student scholarships are available only to students who plan to attend classes on the main campus as traditional undergraduate students in the fall semester immediately following high school graduation. These may be available to you if you graduated from high school between December of the previous calendar year and June of the calendar year in which you wish to enroll and plan to attend classes on the main campus as a traditional student.

The Chancellor Award is the only scholarship level that requires an unweighted GPA to be eligible. Chancellor’s Awards are limited in number and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

For admission based on the ACT or SAT, the student will be required to maintain a minimum unweighted high school GPA of 2.5.

Scholarships are renewable every year. To maintain your current scholarship, you must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) at the end of each academic year (spring semester). For SAP requirements, please refer to the University Policy Manual.
